Mit diesem Newsletter möchten wir euch alle nach Goloka Dhama einladen, um dort das freudenreichste Ereignis des Jahres zu feiern: Sri Krsna Janmastami Mahotsava vom 2. bis 6. September. Gerne sind wir der Anregung gefolgt, das Fest etwas länger zu machen, damit jeder teilnehmen kann. Wer also nur am Wochenende Zeit hat, wird diesmal nichts verpassen.

Gerne könnt ihr auch mithelfen! Eure Hilfe und eure Meinungen sind stets willkommen. Insbesondere brauchen wir Helfer für den Zeltaufbau, für die Tische und Bänke, fürs Rasenmähen usw. Wenn es euch möglich ist, schon eine Woche vor dem Fest herzukommen und zu helfen, dann können wir euch kostenfreien Aufenthalt anbieten. Sri Balaramas Erscheinungstag: Dienstag, 24. August
Vor Sri Krsnas Erscheinen kam Sein älterer Bruder Sri Balarama Dauji in diese Welt. Unter der Obhut Nanda Maharajas lebte er in Vrindavan und machte allen Einwohnern Vrindavans Freude. Später folgte er Krsna nach Mathura und Dvaraka.
“Bala” bedeutet Kraft, “Rama” innere Freude. Wir beten zu Sri Balarama um spirituelle Kraft, damit wir unbeeinflusst von Mayas Hindernissen Fortschritt im Krsna-Bewusstsein machen können. Wir möchten Krsna in reiner Form dienen können und die innere Zufriedenheit und Glückseligkeit erlangen, die wir seit unvordenklicher Zeit in dieser materiellen Welt gesucht haben.
Kommen wir zusammen und feiern wir dieses schöne Ereignis, das ab 17 Uhr in Goloka Dhama beginnen wird. Es gibt eine Abhisekha für Sri Sri Krsna-Balarama, Bhajans, Lila- Katha, Kuchen und Maha-Prasdam für alle.
Baldige Attraktion: Sri Radhastami, Mittwoch, 15. September
Diesmal haben wir als Gastsprecher einen ungewöhnlich barmherzigen und geistreichen Sannyasi aus Nigeria bei uns: HH Bhakti Dhira Damodara Swami kommt extra aus Afrika zu uns und segnet uns mit seiner Gegenwart. Bitte nehmt teil und verpasst nicht diese gute Gelegenheit für sadhu-sanga und erlangt radha-krpa, indem ihr Srimati Radharani dient.

With this issue of our Newsletter, we like to invite all of you to come to Goloka Dhama and take part in the most blissful event of the year “Sri Krsna Jnamastami Mahotsava”. The festival is during Sept. 2nd- 6th. Due to the request of some of you we have prolonged the festivities so that every one can take part, also those who can only attend during the week end.

Please do not hesitate to help us shape the festival. Your cooperation and opinions are most welcome. Specifically we need some helpers to assist erecting tents, tables and banks, mowing the lawn, etc. If it is possible for you to come and help us build up and prepare the festival a week before, we can offer you to stay here free of charge during your stay. Sri Balarama’s appearance day, Tuesday, August 24th 2010
Prior to the appearance of Sri Krsna, His elder Brother Sri Balarama Dauji appeared in this world. He lived in Vrndavan at the custody of Nanada Maharaja to bring pleasure to all of the inhabitants of Vrndavan. Later on he followed Krsna to Mathura and Dvaraka.
“Bala” means power, “Rama” inner pleasure. We pray to Lord Balarama to achieve spiritual power, so that we can advance in Krsna consciousness without being influenced by Maya’s obstacles, be able to serve Krsna purely and that we attain the inner satisfaction and bliss which we have been seeking in this material world since time immemorial.
Let us come together and celebrate this beautiful event starting from 5 p.m. in Goloka Dhama. There will be an Abhisheka to Sri Sri Krsna Balarama, Bhajans, lila- Katha, cake and Maha-Prasdam for every one.
Coming attraction: Sri Radhastami, Wednesday, September 15th
This year we have an uncommonly merciful and brilliant Sannyasi from Nigeria as our guest speaker. HH Bhakti Dhira Damodara Swami is taking the trouble to come all the way from Africa and bless us by his presence during this festival. Please try to participate in this joyful event and do not miss this good opportunity for sadhu-sanga and attain Radha-Krpa by serving Srimati Radharani.
