Liebe Devotees und Freunde Krishnas,
Srila Prabhupada erzählte seinen Schülern eine Geschichte aus der Zeit, als er in Vrindavana lebte. Jeden Morgen ging eine Bengali-Witwe für ihr Bad an die Yamuna. Und jeden Morgen brachte sie einen Krug Wasser für die Radha-Damodara-Pujaris mit, damit diese sie für das Bad der Bildgestalten verwenden konnten. Prabhupada sagte, dass er ihr manchmal das Tor öffnete, da er ebenfalls sehr früh aufstand, und sie ging hinein und weckte den Pujari.
“Obwohl im Winter die Nächte in Vrindavana ziemlich kalt sind, brachte die Frau das Wasser wirklich jeden Tag”, sagte er. “Dafür geht sie zurück zu Gott.” Srila Prabhupada Lilamrita Band 4
Ich erzähle euch diese schöne Anekdote, da ich euch ermuntern will, für die Verehrung Sri Sri Radha-Madana-Mohanas etwas Wasser zu bringen.
Wir haben die Jahresrechnung für das im Tempel verbrauchte Wasser erhalten. Diesmal müssen wir fast 6000 Euro zahlen, und zwar in vier Raten im Voraus. Die erste Rate in Höhe von 3000 Euro ist am 28. Februar fällig. Ich versichere euch, dass wir alles in unserer Macht Stehende getan haben, um kein Wasser zu vergeuden.
Es sind auch zwei Zahlungen in Höhe von 450 Euro für Strom zu leisten (Januar und Februar 2010), die sofort getätigt werden mpssen, da wir sie bis jetzt nicht zahlen konnten.
Die Monatszahlung an die Bank in Höhe von 800 Euro für das Land muss für Januar und Februar bezahlt werden. Leider fehlt das Geld für all diese Dinge. Daher wende ich mich als demütiger Bettler an euch, dass ihr mir bitte helft, diese Schuldenwelle aufzuhalten. Ich bin hilflos und brauche eure Hilfe.
Bis Ende 2009 hatten wir kein Defizit. Leider stellten einige unserer Freunde ihre Beiträge aufgrund privater Umstände ein, und daher ergab sich plötzlich diese Situation.
Ich halte es für klug, euch alle nach Goloka Dhama einzuladen, damit ihr die Situation vor Ort begutachten könnt. Goloka Dhama ist ein sehr schönes Projekt, und wir haben diese wunderbare Gelegenheit, die Verehrung Sri Sri Radha-Madana-Mohanas an diesem Ort fortzuführen und anderen die Kunst der Bildgestaltenverehrung nahezubringen. Das hängt jedoch von eurem Wunsch ab – es kann nicht ohne die Bemühung der Gemeinde geschehen.
Daher lade ich all unsere Freunde und Gönner zu einem Treffen am Samstag, den 27. Februar 2010 um 10:00 Uhr ein. Für Prasadam und Übernachtung werden wir kein Geld nehmen, wenn ihr euch für eine Teilnahme entscheidet. Bitte nehmt euch die Zeit und kommt zu diesem Treffen. Lasst uns gemeinsam entscheiden und Mittel und Wege finden, das Problem zu lösen und eine bessere Zukunft zu schaffen. Das hier ist keine normale Ankündigung, sondern ein sehr ernster Versuch, eine Lösung zu finden. Die Zukunft Goloka Dhamas liegt nun in eurer Hand.

Es ist ein dringendes Treffen, und ich bitte euch, den Ernst der Situation nicht zu ignorieren. Wenn ihr für Krishna etwas Besonderes tun möchtet. dann ist hier und jetzt eine Möglichkeit, dabei zu helfen, dass die Verehrung unserer geliebten Sri Sri Radha-Madana-Mohana weitergehen kann.

Dear devotees and friends of Krsna,
Srila Prabhupada told his disciples a story about when he had lived in Vrndavana. A Bengali widow walked to the Yamuna River to take her bath every morning. And every morning without fail she would return with a pot of water for the Radha-Damodara pujaris to use in bathing the Deities. Prabhupada said he would sometimes open the gate for the woman, since he also rose very early, and she would enter and wake the Pujari.
“Although the Vrndavana nights are cold in the winter,” Prabhupada said, “the woman never once failed to come with the water. For this activity she will return back to Godhead. “ Srila Prabhupada Lilamrta Vol. 4″
I mentioned this beautiful anecdote because I like to encourage you to bring some water for the worship Sri Sri Radha Madana Mohana J
We have received the yearly Invoice for the water which we use in the tempel. The invoice is according to our usage of Water from 2009 and we have to pay the amount of almost 6000,-€ in 4 installments in advance. The first installment has to be paid on Feb. 28th and the amount is 3000,-€. I assure you that we have been doing whatever is possible to not waste any water.
Also there are two payments of each 450,-€ for Electricity (Jan. & Feb. 2010) which has to be paid immediately since we have not been able to pay them up to now.
The monthly bank payment of 800,-€ for the land has to be paid for January and February. Unfortunately, all this is missing and we are not able to pay them. Therefore, I am coming humbly to you as a beggar to help me stop this wave of debts. I am helpless and need your assistance.
Up until the end of 2009 we did not have any of these shortages. Unfortunately some of our friends stopped their contributions due to private reasons and the present situation suddenly happened.
I thought it wise to invite all of you to come and visit Goloka Dhama and see the situation for yourself. Goloka Dhama is such a nice project and we have these wonderful opportunities to continue the worship of Sri Sri Radha Madana Mohana at this location and educate others to learn the art of Deity worship. However, the continuation is dependent on your desire. It can not be done without a congregational attempt.
Therefore, I am inviting all of you for a general meeting of all our friends and well wishers on Saturday, Februray 27 th 2010 at 10:00 O`clock. We do not charge any amounts for Prasadam and staying over night if you decide to take part in this meeting. Please take the time and come to this meeting and let us decide together and find ways and means to solve the problem and decide for a bright future. This is not a usual announcement, but a very serious attempt to find a solution. The future of Goloka Dhama is now in your hands.
