Dear friends of Goloka Dhama,

Warm greetings from springtime Goloka Dhama. We’re celebrating! April invites you – in keeping with the season – to inspiring events and new opportunities to grow spiritually together. In this newsletter, you’ll find an overview of the key dates in April, as well as a preview of our current annual events: the Bhakti Festival in early June and the kirtan course in October.



Highlights for April

Bhakti Immersion Retreat

Sri Narasimhadeva Caturdasi Festival

Thursday, 30 April marks the day of Lord Narasimhadeva’s appearance. We invite you to celebrate this special day joyfully with us. You can access the program shortly beforehand via our social media channels or by [email protected] . For larger groups, we would appreciate a brief advance booking via email.

 


Further special events in 2026 – “New” events – debuting in 2025

Youth Sanga
⁠15.-17 May, 2026
We are happy to announce that 15-17 of May, a Youth Sanga Festival will take place in Goloka Dhama. The idea is to create opportunities for young devotees—whether they live on the project, in nearby towns, or visit the temple regularly—to come together and connect in meaningful ways. The program includes Harinama in Trier, an evening of music and poetry, kirtan programs, outdoor games and a warm gathering around the campfire. The festival is meant to strengthen our network of young people connected to Goloka Dhama, find new friends and simply have fun together.

Contribution: This event has no fixed cost. Participation is based on donation.

Goloka Vilasa Youth Kirtan Festival
22.-25. May, 2026
We are happy to invite you to take part in a kirtan weekend in Goloka Dhama from 22. - 25. May. From Friday to Monday we plan lots of kirtan and collectively connecting deeper with the Holy Name and our beloved Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan.  The festival, including the stay in the ashram and prasadam will be entirely for free! In order to provide a beautiful experience for everyone, heartfelt donations are of course warmly welcome.

2nd Bhakti Festival

4–7 June, 2026
Immerse yourself in a joyful weekend full of devotion with kirtan, mantra concerts, talks and yoga sessions in a shared community. The Bhakti Festival offers you lightness and joy as well as spiritual inspiration and deepening, no matter which spiritual tradition you come from. Experienced musicians and yoga teachers such as Tarana Caitanya, Krishangi Lila, Sadbhuja, Ananda Luz and Marco Büscher will make your summer festival experience unforgettable. First Aid Course

Course content:
- When is an emergency a genuine emergency?
- Keeping a cool head during medical crises 
 - First aid in theory and practice, e.g.:
CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
The basics of artificial respiration
Treating injuries 
Rescue in the countryside / from a car / from the road
Insect bites / allergic reactions

Sri Radhastami Festival

From Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September 2026

We are delighted to invite you to the Radhashtami Festival.

Kirtan Course

From October 4 – 18, 2026

Last year, the course was fully booked very quickly. Ojasvi D., Sudevi Vilasini DD and Bala Govinda D. will inspire you over two weeks with the full “range of kirtan”: harmonium (Indian scales), mridanga, karatals and vocal training. Whether you’re new to kirtan or want to deepen your practice, this course offers a professional introduction to the basics as well as advanced kirtan techniques. Group singing, regular one-to-one coaching sessions, and music theory presented in a practical and accessible way. The course teaches you how to lead kirtan professionally whilst establishing a deeper connection with yourself and deepening your bhakti practice.
