Newsletter March 2026

Dear friends of Goloka Dhama,

When I took part in the Bhakti Immersion Retreat last year, I had no idea how profound, exciting and fun those days would be for me. Long afterwards, the impressions, conversations and new, surprising insights continued to accompany me in my everyday life. That is precisely why I am writing today – to invite you to the Bhakti Immersion Retreat in April 2026.

What made this retreat so special for me was the brilliant combination of sound, systematic knowledge of our scriptures and realised Krishna consciousness. With HH Sacinandana Swami and Hari Parsad Prabhu, we are fortunate to have two teachers who not only explain bhakti, but embody it and make it understandable to us. I often had the feeling that I suddenly understood familiar concepts from a completely new perspective.

The retreat is an invitation to delve deeper into the Bhakti tradition: to ask questions, recognise connections and reflect more consciously on one's own spiritual path. But the community was just as valuable to me. The days at Goloka Dhama were marked by open, deep conversations and the feeling of being on a journey with other serious devotees who share similar questions, longings and challenges. And yes, I must mention the delicious prasadam! Every meal was not only delicious, but also a moment of community, and you can feel that the food is cooked with devotion.

If you wish to deepen your bhakti, gain new inspiration, challenge yourself mentally and spiritually, and at the same time be carried by a joyful atmosphere, then I can wholeheartedly recommend this retreat to you. It is a real gem in our annual program full of nectar-filled events.

Why do we go on a retreat? I think it is to take something essential back into our daily lives. HH Sacinandana Swami spoke about how bhakti truly matures when we anchor it in our everyday lives – through small, sincere steps, through conscious decisions to continually realign our lives with Krishna. The focus is not on perfection, but on sincerity, continuity and our relationship with Krishna. I found this very motivating and it was an important impetus for me to realign my priorities.
