Bhakti-Sastri-Course

As already announced in our newsletter, we will be able to have a full Bhakti-sastri-Course in Goloka Dhama.

Such a course is about a deeper study of the four – for us most relevant – Bhakti-sastras, such as:

Nectar of Devotion (NOD)
Nectar of Instruction (NOI)
Sri-Isopanishad (Iso)
Srimad Bhagavad-Gita (BG)

The course will be taught in three modules

Module one is Bhagavad-Gita, Chapt. 1-9
Module two is Bhagavad-Gita, Chapt. 10-18
Module three is NOD, NOI and Iso

Module one and two have each about 43 lessons, module three is taught in 49 lessons, which makes a total of about 135 lessons, 90 min. each. For a regular BS-student there will be about one to two and a half hours of individual studies needed per lesson.

We plan to teach lessons weekly, on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

The course is free of charges.

The course can be attended in two ways:

As a regular BS-student or
as a listener.

The regular student should participate in all of the lessons, do his homework regularly and write the required essays and exams. After finishing the course successfully he will be awarded an official Bhakti-Sastri-Diploma.
The listener can attend the lessons as per his desire and he will in the end receive a confirmation according to the degree of his participation.

According to GBC-rules second initation will be possible from January 2016 on only if the candidate has finished* the Bhakti-sastri-studies. We therefore recommend to those devotees who are aspiring for second initiation, to attend this course. The course most probably will be held in English.
