Japa retreat
with Gaurahari dasa and Vaijayanti dd

Dear friends,

 

This retreat is mainly designed for practicing devotees who have been chanting Japa for some years. New practitioners are also welcome. 

During this weekend, we will leave aside all the concerns of this world to dive into chanting of the Holy Name with absorption. We will practice many hours of Japa chanting with regular inspirations, meditations, learning new skills and more. The glories of the Holy Name and the understanding of Nama Tattva will be explained in the morning lectures and special times with kirtans. 

This retreat aims to give some new strength and enthusiasm to the most important practice of Bhakti Yoga. The Satvic, peaceful atmosphere of Goloka Dhama will surely assist to improve the quality of our chanting. With the association of sincere devotees, guidance, and under the shelter of Sri Sri Radha Madana Mohan, the success of this retreat is already assured.

About the teachers: 

Gaurahari dasa 
Came to know about Krsna consciousness at the age of 20 years old. Five years later he decided to seriously practice the process of Sadhana Bhakti while still living far from the temple and working in the society. Three years later he stopped his painting business to become a monk and joined the Zurich temple in 2002. After a few months, he was invited to join the team of Srila Sacinadana Swami as his personal servant. For 9 years, Gaurahari dasa travelled with his spiritual master all around the world and was trained with a lot of care and attention in the practical aspects of Krsna consciousness. 

For the following 10 years, Gaurahari dasa served as temple president in the Goloka Dhama community, together with his wife. He is now spending more time in the Holy Vrindavan Dhama and is travelling and teaching. 

During his years of service with Srila Sacinandana Swami, Gaurahari dasa could hear and attend many Japa retreat of his spiritual master. Since more than  years he is teaching online Japa inspirations, weekly. 

Vaijayanti devi dasi

After her studies at university and some years of travelling freely as a street artist, Vaijayanti met devotees and decided to go alone to India. When she came to Vrindavana, she felt so much at home that she started to dive into the practices of Krsna consciousness. She has done many Vraja Mandala Parikrams and has spent more than 10 years in actively distributing Srila Prabhupada´s books. She joined Goloka Dhama temple in 2013 and assisted her husband in the leadership and management of the temple. She has also attended many courses in communication, mentorship, pre-marital training, deity worship, Bhakti Sastri and Bhakti Vaibhava.
